The Corporate & Institutional Banking Department is one of the Departments under the New Wholesale Banking Division of Fidelity bank. The other two departments within the division are Private and Executive Banking and Corporate Finance.

Within the Corporate and Institutional Banking Department several desks have been set up each focusing on specific segments of the Corporate Market. We have the following desks currently.

1. GOVERNMENT BUSINESS- The focus is on Ministries, Departments and other governmental institutions.

2. TELECOMS AND UTILITIES- This Desk takes care of the needs of Telecommunication and Utility companies as well as other ancillary businesses within the corporate market.

3. CHURCHES AND LARGE LIABILITIES- The focus of this desk is mainly deposit mobilization as well as offering tailor-made products and services for churches. NGOs and other private institutions.

4. MANUFATURING AND DISTRIBUTION DESK- the Manufacturing and Distribution Sectors present enormous   business opportunities to the bank. Ghana imports a wide range of products and services- Raw Materials, Machinery and parts, consumer goods etc- . The export sector particularly, the export of non-traditional products is also growing steadily and the desk is set up to service these segments.

5. THE TRADE DESK- The desk directs and manages the trade finance business of the bank by acting as a link between the department and other departments that facilitate/process trade transactions, another core function of the desk is to liaise and support relationship Managers in dealing with trade transactions as well as offering expert advice to our customers.
